Call for Papers: Psychology Science
The journal once known as Psychologische Beiträge is being relaunched. Beginning with the first issue of 2003, it appears under a new name, Psychology Science, with Klaus D. Kubinger of Vienna serving as Editor in Chief and Pabst Science Publishers of Lengerich, Germany, handling publication. The relaunch turns it into an international journal published entirely in English, guided by an international Editorial Board.
Submissions are welcome across every branch of psychology, and the editors are aiming the journal at readers both within and beyond any single country. Alongside the regular research articles, the journal will run several special sections. Among them: News covering psychological test software, Comments responding to recently published papers, and a section on statistical artefacts built around concrete examples.
Four issues come out each year. On top of that quarterly schedule, the editors plan one or two special issues annually, each put together by a guest editor chosen for their standing in the field.
Anyone with a manuscript can send it directly to the Editor in Chief, Klaus D. Kubinger, at psychology-science.psychologie@univie.ac.at, starting immediately.
Speed is part of the design. A tightly run review process is meant to move accepted papers toward publication quickly. Once a paper is accepted, its full text goes up on the Pabst Publishers website (www.psychology-science.com) right away, often several months ahead of its appearance in a printed issue. The entire path from submission through to publication is handled by e-mail.
Pabst Science Publishers operates out of Lengerich, Berlin, Bremen, Miami, Riga, Viernheim, Vienna, and Zagreb.
